ABOUT US:

Canam Group in Brasov began as a small detailing office in 1998 which afterward became a major company on the Brasov market with its own building and more than 350 employees. Our team in Brasov provides 3D modeling, detailing and estimating services for constructions such as buildings, steel structures and bridges. We work for our plants and offices in Canada and the United States and for other North American steel fabricators. We also have our own IT team developing software for internal usage. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Our teams are working in Agile and Kanban methodologies using C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API and VC++ for the development and maintenance of sales, estimation and engineering software
  • We are also extending commercial applications through related API to meet our  technical needs
  • Our goal is to meet internal standards and to ensure that what we develop is properly documented (architecture and class diagrams)
  • We ensure appropriate integration of development in the release and source code control process (internal standards)

 

TECHNICAL & GENERAL SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of application development using Microsoft technologies
  • Knowledge of OOP, Design patterns, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API and databases (SQL/ NoSQL)
  • An open person with a proactive attitude and interest in the continuous improvement of quality
  • Passion for software development
  • Graduate in Computer Science / Cybernetics / Mathematics / Automation University
  • Knowledge of English and/or French
  • Good to know:
    • VC++
    • Oracle (PL/SQL, Forms (6i), Reports (6i), Oracle Workflow Builder, XML Publisher, etc. …) 
    • Progress (OpenEdge)
