Canam Group Employees Donate $6,500 to a Local Health Foundation

Since 2001, Canam Group employees at the Saint-Gédéon-de-Beauce, Saint-Georges and Quebec City facilities have been making annual donations to the Fondation Santé Beauce-Etchemin, a local foundation whose mission is to improve the quality of regional health care and services, mainly through the purchase of medical equipment.

The $6,500 donation, which was collected through payroll deductions in the scope of the Employee Fund Program, will be used to purchase an electric bed and a self-locking rocker recliner chair. A plaque identifying the group of benefactors will be placed on the equipment, adding to the feeling of pride and belonging of employees.

“We wish to thank Canam Group employees for their steadfast devotion, year after year,” declared Luce Dallaire, manager of Fondation Santé Beauce-Etchemin. “This group was one of the first to take up our cause and we are truly grateful for the well-being that their generosity has allowed us to bring to our community,” added Ms. Dallaire.
