Georges-Etienne Bouffard Named Young Employed Graduate of the Year

Georges-Etienne Bouffard, Project Manager at Canam Group, is the recipient of the Young Employed Graduate of the Year award presented at the «Gala distinction jeunesse» for the Beauce South region on March 30. The Youth of Distinction Awards, organized by Carrefour jeunesse emploi de Beauce-Sud, the local youth employment center, honor young men and women between the ages of 16 and 35 who have demonstrated effort and achievements in their business life and contributed to the vitality of the Beauce region.

“In addition to his civil engineering technician skills, Georges-Etienne does not hesitate to acquire additional knowledge to accomplish his mandates. In the field of innovation, it is imperative to be creative and Georges-Etienne has a tremendous amount of originality. He also knows how to create a collaborative environment for team members who take part in his projects” says Dominic Croteau, Project Manager Innovation and Georges-Etienne’s supervisor.

Selected from among 50 nominees, Georges-Etienne was one of the 18 finalists in six different categories to be honored on this very special occasion. Claude Provost, Vice President of Human Resources at Canam Group is equally proud of the recipient of this prestigious distinction. “Congratulations, Georges-Etienne!
