Three Boucherville Employees Walked to Support the Alzheimer Society

Sunday, May 29, “Mom’s Girls”, a team formed of Claude Pelland, Marketing Consultant, Louise Filiatreault, Office Planning and Purchasing Coordinator and Manon Moisan, Communications Advisor of the Boucherville Administrative Center participated in the Walk for Alzheimer’s.

Thanks to the generosity of family and friends as well as that of their colleagues who contributed either through personal donations or during a “jeans” day ” they were able to remit an amount of $ 2,840 to the Société Alzheimer des Maskoutains-Vallée des Patriotes.

“The fact that our mothers are or were affected by this disease, we are particularly challenged by the cause,” mentioned the participants. “We thank our colleagues who have supported us and helped us exceed our goal. ”

The 747,000 people with Alzheimer’s or a related disease in Canada, as well as caregivers and families will directly benefit from donations through local programs and services, which significantly contribute to alleviate the personal and social consequences of these diseases in the community.
