Two Canam-Bridges Engineers to Present and Moderate at the Upcoming MTQ Symposium

The Ministry of Transport of Quebec (MTQ) will hold its 22nd symposium on the advancement of research in Quebec on engineered structures next May 5-6 in Quebec City. As part of this event, Canam-Bridges Technical Manager Patrice Tremblay will present a case study of the Gilbert River Bridge that was erected in Notre-Dame-des-Pins, Quebec, using the launched-girder erection technique. Mr. Tremblay will discuss various aspects of the launch, including challenges, planning, execution, measurements and control. Another Canam-Bridges engineer, Éric Lévesque, Engineering Manager, New Products, will serve as moderator at the symposium.
The objective of this meeting is to present technologically innovative projects in the area of engineered structures (underway or completed). Many presentations on the subject of innovations, research, experimentation and large-scale projects are slated to be given.
